According to the developers of the system, the transition to modeling such complex objects in real time is a real breakthrough in terms of reducing the cost of their design, shortening the development and modernization time. Estimated time savings can be as high as 50%.

The supercomputer is based on Acalis FPMC (Field Programmable Multicore Chips), created by CPU Tech (pictured), and programmable gate arrays of the Stratix II family, manufactured by Altera. The X3 has a steady-state performance of 4 terahorps (trillion operations per second). The supercomputer is made in the form of modules, mounted in 10U racks, and consumes only 5 kW of electricity.
